We are located just a few minutes outside of DC, so we are located in an urban area. We try to make the most of our outdoor time by using local parks, which provide many different ways for our students to engage with the outdoors. For our Christmas gathering, we met at Watkins Park in the afternoon. We exchanged gifts, walked some of the paths and enjoyed time together. When it got dark, all the families made a caravan to do the drivethru light show at the park. It was an amazing evening and a great way to end our 1st semester. Merry Christmas everyone!
